Label R is delighted to welcome Robert W. van Zwieten, CEO of The Serendra Group and the former President and CEO.
f the EMPEA, onto Label R’s Advisory Board. Robert will provide Label R with strategic advice based on his extensive experience working in global financial services. He will also help Label R strengthen its presence with Development Financial Institutions and forge new partnerships for the company.
The Serendra Group is a CEO advisory firm, helping its clients build sustainable and profitable businesses in developed and emerging markets. EMPEA is the global non-profit industry association for private capital in emerging markets, representing 300+ member firms compromising institutional investors, fund managers and industry advisors, who together manage more than $5 trillion in assets and have office in more than 100 countries across the globe. Robert also previously served in senior executive positions at ABN AMRO Bank, GE Capital and GE Energy, Lehman Brothers, Singapore Exchange and Asian Development Bank.
Label R offers the world’s first certification of ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance) and business ethics including anti-money laundering, anti-corruption and ethical financial practices.
The company’s goal is to provide a strong and harmonised tool for funds and companies to be able to prove that they are effectively implementing ESG, and thereby help them grow by developing good business practices, enhancing their reputation, and ensuring a long-term positive impact. Label R gives investors the security that risk has been thoroughly measured at all levels. No other kind of tool gives this kind of assurance to investors.

The company established in Luxembourg in 2018 is in the process of incorporation in the US.
Label R has been recognised by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) as the only company able to certify ESG methodology for private equity funds, and is supported by key players from its industry such as the IFC, BlackRock, the Richemont Group, SGS, to name a few.
